TDI Systems constructed a mezzanine floor to house a photo studio & changing room facilities at first floor level, access was via the existing first floor office, where we knocked through and installed a landing area with a transfer staircase to the new upper floor. The mezzanine was One Hour Fire Rated using a double skin plasterboard MF ceiling system to the underside and all columns were encased using white plastisol column casings. The partitions above the mezzanine were formed using Jumbo studs and double skin plasterboard to provide 60mins fire resistance. An infinity cove was installed inside the space using glass reinforced plastic for strength and accuracy, this gives the impression that the background behind their models or props appear to extend into infinity.
